It's finally summer! Well...not officially but it's warm and it's nice and the CAVS are in the Finals. We're happy in Ohio - at least we are in Cleveland
As we ramp up to the start of the private employer's program start date on July 1, there are only a few deadlines and reminders.
No deadlines for public employers in June.
For any employer participating in the Drug Free Safety program beginning July 1, our calendars are open for training at your location and our webinar schedule is updated through August. We do have seats left in our June 9th Train the Trainer class, as well. Our webinar schedule, including the Train the Trainer classes can be found here: Webinar Schedule.

Welcome to Spring!
With the first signs of spring this year, comes Open Enrollment. It's a hectic time for just about everyone in the workers' compensation industry because, in just a 30 day window, employers can choose/change their Managed Care Organization. It's an important decision which should not be taken lightly.
There are three upcoming application deadlines for Transitional Work, Drug Free Safety and Industry Specific Safety Programs at the end of this month. As always, deadlines must be taken seriously as the BWC does not allow for late submissions of applications. Just a reminder that if you're considering the Transitional Work Bonus program and do not have a written program, the BWC offers a 3-to-1 matching grant to offset the costs of hiring a developer. If you are considering the program, development does take some time so we encourage you to contact us soon since the written program is required for Bonus program approval.
