Our Story
Corporate Connections - now First Connect Corporate Services - was founded in 2004 by a seasoned occupational health, workers' compensation and drug free professional and quickly expanded to provide services across Ohio and nationwide.
Today, First Connect focuses primarily on building effective drug free programs but that doesn't mean we have forgotten our roots in workers' compensation and we build all of our programs with our client's safety program in mind. Connecting the drug free programs to the safety programs and injury reporting process helps employers prevent injuries related to substance use and quickly identify related claims. Most importantly, having a comprehensive drug free program in place allows employees to get help before a program violation.
Our Experience
With over 30 years of experience working with employers on their workers' compensation processes and drug free programs, we know our stuff! Over the years, we've worked with organizations with one small location and streamlined processes for multi-jurisdictional employers with thousands of employees across the country. We've worked to bridge the gap between unions and management, educated tens of thousands of employees in the dangers of substance use and trained supervisors on prevention, steps to follow when a situation arises and how to help employees who may be in need of assistance.
